Hi, so I am Morgan King a Scots College Student from Wellington New Zealand and I am currently over half way through my first year as an IB diploma student.
This Website is going to be all about my experiences at the University of Hong Kong's IB World Student Conference on iResponsibility and what I have gained and learned as a result of this. I will share videos, photos and other things of interest and relevance to the topic here. This Blog is acting as a CAS record and an outlet to share my views and experiences. After the conference it will stem out into a project that i will undertake for the betterment of my school and local community. Potentially through the outreach of social media. iResponsibilty is all about how we engage and explore the online world. we all take this world for granted but in amongst its wonders certain dangers hide. I am personally of the opinion that it is the duty of my generation to improve the internet and help it to reach its full potential as a resource while mitigating hazards. The digital realm is a world of infinite possibility and if used wrongly could have disastrous consequences and my idea for helping the world deal with this resource is "helping others to help themselves", in other words giving people the "know how" so that they can remain safe and experience the full benefits of this dynamic environment. I will be posting on this page regularly throughout the conference. I encourage you to read them and share in the experience and more importantly share this blog so others can as well! Feel free to reply/comment on posts, I would love to hear from you! Cheers, Morgan |
Check out what I'm doing!
